Community Corner:
Our Fall Community events schedule got underway in September as we hosted several art project studio days at the Glazer’s Children’s Museum for our Sibling Art Project 2011 which will go on exhibit Nov 20 at the University of Tampa, we also enjoyed hosting a Fancy Fun Tea Party and Lego Adventure Party, at the Intercontinental hotel in Tampa for a group of very special children that are extremely community minded that came together to celebrate each other and have FUN! Very special thanks go to Sago Networks for being an amazing addition to the day by providing a pampering princess table for our tea party guests, Suzin Carr Author “I Choose” and “I choose too” for inspiring our young guests with your amazing message. We are extremely excited and honored that the Tampa Bay Business Journal has nominated Us for the Community Outreach Category for Their Medical Heroes Awards coming up on October 13th! We appreciate the acknowledgement and thank all of our supporters and hope the recognition can only grow further our Therapeutic Listening Lending Library that we are proud to say currently has 2,200 sets of headphones on loan to families in the Bay area and Beyond!!! A very great accomplishment for our special families that are seeing results from this equipment!
